“The Silver Bay Institute is thrilled to be partnering to launch a new conference aimed at examining the essential facts of the Christian faith in a formative setting in a format accessible to all who will come. This conference builds on the long history of the Silver Bay YMCA as the national missionary training center of the ‘Y’ movement dating back to the early 1900’s.”

MAIN SESSION SPEAKERS

Steven Law is known for Patterns of Evidence: Journey to Mount Sinai II (2023), Patterns of Evidence: Exodus (2014) and Patterns of Evidence: Journey to Mount Sinai (2022). All of these documentary films explore the reliability and truth of the Bible’s historical record by looking at modern day evidence and plausible theories for many mysteries of ages past including the crossing of the Red Sea.

Harvey Carey is the founder and senior pastor of Citadel of Faith Covenant Church in Detroit, Michigan. The former IYC speaker’s dynamic global ministry continues to change lives with the transforming truth of God’s Word. As a youth pastor in Chicago, Carey developed a nationally emulated youth ministry model that has reached thousands of teens in inner-cities across the nation.

Passionate about restoring the inner-city, Carey has partnered with several community organizations and nonprofits, providing housing, social services, and ministry to youth and children in the city of Detroit. His inspiring leadership and vision for urban renewal unites people across boundaries of race, age, class, and culture. Harvey Carey, his wife Nancy, and their daughter Tiffany reside in the heart of Detroit.
